IT ALL BEGAN WITH A CAR DIVE
To get fans fired up for Castle Rock’s series premiere, Creative Riff and Hulu created a captivating experience that transported guests into the mind of Stephen King and the Castle Rock universe. We built and designed the immersive “Castle Rock B&B,” which guests checked into with their RFID “room key.” They were welcomed by the strange owners of the B&B and guided through a 10-minute theatrical experience that included scenes from key elements of the first season. Guests were encouraged to share their own “scare moments” on social media and invited to subscribe to Hulu to tune in for the premiere.
The space also featured
a self-discovery Castle Rock Forest filled with hidden installations as nods to the upcoming season and a Hulu-branded lounge for VIPs .
A car crash installation in a nearby water fountain served as photo-op and an insight into the season premiere.
